Four performance classes

We “put on our custo-

mers‘ glasses”...

When developing our automation solutions

we consistently “put on our customers‘

glasses”. This perspective gave rise to the

adaption of our system portfolio into the

four machine building performance

classes: Compact, Standard, Universal and

Performance. The Compact class is aimed

at compact machines in the lower price

segment without any cutting back on the

performance level required. The Standard

class covers the performance range of

medium-sized standard machines, whereas

the Universal class with its modular device

structure is designed for medium to large

OEM machines. The Performance class

offers open hardware and software plat-

forms for high-end automation solutions up

to the ﬁeld of motion control. The system

component approach allows devices to be

combined together outside of the respective

performance classes. These are then system

solutions made to measure.
